Mark Thomas is an IT Management Consultant / Programme Director with 25 years consulting experience. He established his IT Management Consultancy business in 1985, and has directed/ undertaken some 200+ assignments for 100+ Clients and Associates. He is passionate about IT Project Success and the cost-effective use of IT within organisations. Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a Certified Management Consultant. He specialises in conducting Project Success Assurance (PSA) reviews, directing & managing IT Change Programmes, and has wide experience of numerous industries, technologies and business functions.

Mark's strengths include his broad knowledge of Business, Organisation and IT that allow him to focus IT Change on the business / organisation benefits, and to bridge the gap between IT and Business divisions. His training and experience have enabled him to undertake consultancy and executive tasks in a focussed, creative, and dynamic way. He has been complimented on his clear thinking, communication and ability to simplify complex problems and situations. He is keen to apply intellect in a practical manner and has worked at all levels within organisations. He uses his contacts well and builds effective teams by tapping into the resources available to him. His independence allows him to remain sharp and responsive to different needs.

Mark's career has covered the majority of IT consultancy and Change Programmes aspects, and he is now consolidating this experience to focus on a role as an IT Management Consultant / IT Programme Director. This role could include IT Strategy, System Planning, Requirements Specification, Feasibility Studies, Evaluation and Selection, Cost/ Benefit Analysis, Programme Design, Programme Set-up, Scope Definition, Training/ Mentoring, Change Management, Workshop Facilitation, Managing/ Directing IT Programmes - covering Infrastructure, Business Systems, System Integration and all aspects of IT change within organisations.
